Both Nova Middle School and Nova High School were evacuated Friday after someone smelled gas leaking from a propane tank on campus, a Davie town spokesman said.

Davie Fire Rescue received calls about 10:30 a.m. of a gas leak and drove to the school, where they found a small leak in a propane tank behind a baseball field near the 3600 block of College Avenue, said Braulio Rosa, the town spokesman.

A gas company was called to fix the leak and students were allowed to return to class after about a half hour, he said.

After this beautiful 30 minute walking event, We had returned to class with a teacher on her perio- I mean, who was /very/ mad at us. She told us to stay with the substitute she ditched us with. Lovely, right? I got lost five times, because the retarded kid with the sign wouldn't stop eye-humping nearby girls.
